I did want to point out a place that is very special to a lot of Michigan people and probably a few from out of state. In fact, I was just there yesterday...Saturday. Anyway, the place I'm suggesting is Jones, in Baldwin, Michigan. They have been making the best home made ice cream since I was a child. In fact, they were selling ice cream when my father was a teenager and he's 77 years old now.

Yesterday was the first time in years since I was up that way and it was a real treat to see that Jones had not changed at all and neither had their wonderful ice creams. I remember as a child people standing in line down the sidewalk waiting to get in for a cone. While we didn't stand in line outside, they certainly were busy inside yesterday.

If you get the chance to check it out...you really should. As my cousin remarked yesterday...."its a sin to leave Baldwin without getting ice cream from Jones. In fact, its bad luck!"
