2007 State Champions Class D Basketball
Last
year the defending state basketball champions ended a 51-game winning
streak that started with 26 games during the 2006-07 season and
continued with the first 25 games of the 2007-08 campaign. This
year the Cedarville Trojans are carrying on their winning tradition and
other school teams are getting in on the act. I understand that
the girls teams are dramatically improved.
The Cedarville Trojans girls basketball team used patience and balanced scoring to post its first regional championship since 1998 with a 59-43 decision over the Superior Central Cougars at Sault Ste. Marie high school Thursday, February 28
Academic excellence, sportsmanship and a tradition of champions mark the programs in the Cedarville school system. Just one more aspect that makes Cedarville such a Terrific Town.
