Once a year, for two days in the fall, the streets of Metamora are filled
with horses, horse owners and horse lovers.  Celebration of the Horse Festival is an annual small town festival celebrating “everything equine”.   The two-day celebration is well-known for its wide range of activities and events for all ages.  The festival features breed displays, a Sunday parade, entertainment, training demonstrations, informative speakers and veterinarians, horse drawn trolley, business expo, children’s activities, pony rides, historic carriage tours, great food and more!
