Fall Family Days at the Octagon Barn
For 2011 the festival is on September 9 and 10. This year - WHEAT & VINTAGE KITCHENS.
Fall Family Days is as unique an event as you will find in all of Michigan. The event is held at the Thumb Octagon Barn Agricultural Museum - 6945 Richie Road - Gagetown, MI. This years theme is WHEAT & VINTAGE KITCHENS. There are demonstrations including harvesting and farming techniques from yesteryear. There are more than 200 displays and vendors.
Friday Evening:
4 – 7 pm — Fish Dinner
7 – 9 pm — Music Jam – bring your instrument and join in!
Saturday
8 – 10 am — Country Style Breakfast
8:30 am — Opening Ceremonies
9:30 am — Field Demonstrations begin
11 am – 5 pm — Traditional music by the Eastern Michigan
