Michigan attractions and Terrific Towns
A major event in town is the week long festival known as the Red Cedar Jubilee. It typically begins the last week of June with a children's 'bike parade' through town, and ends with the Boy Scout pancake breakfast on Sunday morning.
Events of the Jubilee include a demolition derby, duck race, and
chicken barbecue, as well as other events and games for children of all
ages. The proceeds from some of the events go to benefit local community
groups. One such group, the Lions Club, runs a food and beverage tent
during the festival.
The Red Cedar Jubilee features parades as well as craft shows, a
demolition derby, lawn mower races, a duck drop and a food and beverage
tent with live music.
