The Cottages at Sunset Shores are the perfect solution, you will not only have a comfy cabin and a sandy beach, you will also be served a home made desert every evening.  The main building has facilities for quilting or scrap booking getaways and a dining area in case you don't want to cook in your cabin kitchen.


Day 1 - Relax on the sun drenched beach - Make use of a row boat, canoe or paddle boat - go fishing or swimming - play volleyball or horseshoes - take a nice nap and then have a campfire on the beach - don't forget the s'mores.

Day 2 - Local Attractions - Quilt Trail - A dozen golf courses like Firefly are within 30 minutes of Sunset Shores - There is the quilt trail and Amish farm markets to discover - The Pere' Marquette Rail Trail runs through town.  Either direction will take you to museums, old depots, train bridges and beautiful nature areas.

Day 3 - Shops in Clare - The Herrick House for Michigan gifts and they have a great cafe - Jay’s Sporting Goods is one of the largest sporting goods stores in the Midwest, with over 72,000 square feet of outdoor merchandise. - The famous Cops & Donuts shop is in downown Clare.
