Veteran's Memorial Museum - Manton, Michigan
Constructed
and dedicated in 2002, the museum was entirely achieved by donations of
material and labor. The Museum is owned by the City of Manton and
the Museum Board. It is run and managed by volunteers. The
Veteran's Memorial Museum Project was recognized as #1 in the nation by
the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
The
Veteran's Memorial Museum in Manton, Michigan has an enormous number of
exhibits. Artifacts include items from the Revolutionary War, like
the footlocker pictured here, all the way to the present.
There are over 300 photographs of men and women in uniform, many from the local area.
