Northwest Michigan - Drumlins

This region of Michigan is as different from the rest of the state as imaginable. The mix of top quality shops and B&B's next to gorgeous nature areas is truly unique. The M-22 drive is one of the most spectacular in the state and Crystal Lake remains pristine.

Further inland is the gorgeous Torch Lake.  This 19 mile long, 300 foot deep lake has been rated the 3rd most beautiful in the world by National Geographic.  If you can take your eyes off the incredible colors of the water, there are tons of things to do on a Torch Lake getaway.

The spices at Alden's Mill House are the best in Michigan.

A visit to the glass blower in East Jordan is nearly mandatory but while there don't miss the very cool shop downtown called Busy Bridge.
