Almont Michigan
Almont is close enough for a day trip from anywhere in metro Detroit. Most notably, Almont is a favorite first stop up M-53 to the thumb.
The Almont Heritage Festival in October is Michigan’s most anticipated fall event, featuring art, agriculture and antiques. In addition to lots of treasures downtown, you’ll discover three "off the beaten path" orchards, each one offers different produce varieties, sweets and its own personality: Brookwood Fruit Farm, Bishop’s Townsend Farm & Hy’s Cider Mill.
Almont
is all about discovery. Come be your own archaeologist.
Uncover an Italian coffee house nestled in a historic
19th century Mill. Explore one garage sale after another
