There is only one Eaton Rapids on earth and it is in Eaton County, Michigan. The river and the rapids have long been an important part of life here. The river is celebrated every year during the annual Dam Festival. The Eaton Rapids Paddle Club celebrates non-motorized outdoor recreation and a shared concern for our Great Lakes environment.
There is a Weekly farmer's
market in downtown Eaton Rapids. They are located
on East Hamlin St. just off Main St. The market operates
on Saturday's from 8am to 1pm, beginning the Saturday
after July 4th and running through September. You will
find locally grown, chemical free produce, handmade soap
and skin care products.
