Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum
Listed in the World Almanac as one of the 100 most unusual places in the world, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum houses thousands of mechanical oddities and one-of-a-kind oddities. Some are very rare; others were built to order for the museum. They say it is impossible to see everything in one trip.
Wander through the 5 000 square feet of mechanical game
history. Have your fortune told, play trivia with an alien,
compete against a chicken in a game of tic-tac-toe - relive
the excitement of a game of Pong. The museum is the largest
collection of mechanical games in the area and includes
something from every decade. Among the treasures on display
are a number old fashion machines that we haven't seen since
the days of nickelodeon style arcades.
Marvin's is home to one version of the Cardiff Giant. The
details are found in the Michigan Back Roads Book, "Oddities
& Rarities".
Most everything is in working order, even the electrocution machines. This is fun for kids and adults alike. Let the kids run free while you relax in the cafe with free WiFi.
Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is a great Michigan staycation.
