White Pine Village
A Michigan day trip to White Pine Village - Ludington Michigan
The historic White Pine Village was opened in 1976 by the Mason County Historical Society. Situated on 23 acres the site boasts more than 25 buildings and thousands of implements and artifacts that bring the rich history of the region to life. This museum has one of the rare Opera Cars that still exist.
The village is just a short drive from Ludington, Michigan. You want to plan for a little extra time here. The site is quite extensive and there is a lot to see in nearly every building.
The log cabin constructions and the stone chimneys will
really take you back to the pioneering days when pine was
king in Michigan. Three Log Buildings - Old Fashioned Ice
