general storeLexington offers excellent B&B's but if you are looking for a place to eat that is open early, Wimpy's is the place. Good breakfast and, for lunch, cheeseburgers with an attitude. Well known locally, I can tell you that the food is good and the service is fast and the conversation can be colorful.

As the "first resort north" you can expect other great places to eat and cool shops.  One of the best is the Lexington General Store, a genuine step back in time.
